Update About Swine-Flu Vaccine (2009-7-27)

I’ve heard several news reports that have safety concerns about the Swine-flu vaccine. The report below describes these concerns.

Because of questions about vaccinations and children resulting in autism (unsubstaniated they claim but with a lot of proof that it’s true) – one in every 150 children have autism – I think we should not be too quick in getting our own children vaccinated. We should, at the very least, consider the points made in this report first.

My philosophy is that “haste often makes waste”. In this case, I wonder if haste has caused vaccine manufacturers to over-look some of their concerns because they fear a pandemic. (Be sure to watch the video I’ve posted below for you about this flu. Then you decide on vaccinating your family or not.

On A Spiritual Note (2009-7-15)

I came across this link today and enjoyed the message. I thought that, perhaps, you might enjoy it too. I think it makes the point clearly that our priorities are out of wack if we don’t have our spiritual side in a healthy condition.

I think this link makes it clear what a healthy condition includes.

Recent Poll On Americans Take On Abortion (2009-7-13)

The American people continue to move to the pro-life perspective on abortion according to the latest Moral Compass survey by the Knights of Columbus and Marist Poll.

The poll mirrored findings of other recent surveys, showing that more Americans identify as pro-life than as pro-choice, and that the vast majority of Americans favor restricting abortion.

We Are In Big Trouble Pal (2009-7-11)

After you watch these video, I would be very interested in your thoughts. Do you think their concern is a radical point of view? So you think the conditions described are not possible? Do you think the people in the videos are over-reacting? Do you have any concerns? Have you had a change in thinking now, because of what you’ve seen on these videos? Well, the proof is in the pudding is what I have to say on this subject. When you look at the economy and see what is going on in Washington, how can we not see the future right now? Government is trying to won everything . . .I mean control everything, even our ability to grow food. Don’t believe me? Well see for yourself when you see these videos. You decide!

Repost: How Did Kids Get This Way (2009-7-7)

Many of our youth are good kids and have done a lot to show us they are ready to be our next generation of leaders. They show us that they are ready to be responsible citizens and parents. They show us that they have moral integrity and firm standards. These young people make us feel proud to have been part of their lives and excited about what they will contribute to our future.

Teen Problems Awareness (2009-7-4)

Teens face issues today that have never been asked of them before. We live in challenging times and since our future depends of the youth today, more is at stake than ever before. Parents are more involved in staying alive financially so both parents must work, which leaves our teens exposed to face the world alone.

Teens need someone to listen to them, someone to tell them they are special, and someone to tell them they have the power in their hands to change our future. They need to understand that power and commit to being the type of person our future needs – such as we see demonstrated in this video.
