Announcing Sherman Web Design

Sherman Web Design Is Now Open for Business.

header_only

I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to my newest venture. I’ve wanted to do this for some time but was not sure that I was ready. Now that I have 24 domain names and most (if not all) of them are set up as a blog, splash page, or a website of some sort, I should have enough experience.

Please take a moment and check out the site. I am open to good or bad feedback. Tell me if you find a link that doesn’t work or you don’t like the way it comes up on your browser. Perhaps you will choose a domain while visiting my site and host it with me. We can add a wordpress application to it and a traffic booster to help you get great traffic. I have a report on the site that shows you the kind of traffic I get by adding a wordpress application.

The cost is affordable, how about FREE for just helping you add wordpress and some plugins. Or I may charge you $179.99 for minimal work. The charges go up when the work becomes more detailed and complicated but we can discuss that at the time we decide to work together.

Just send me an email and tell me what you need and then we can settle on a fee at that time. At least take a look at getting a domain for as little as $1.99. You can’t miss that bargain deal can you? Just click on the links above for the limited offer or to see Design Examples.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Let me help you, even if it’s for FREE. I would love to assist you.

Sincerely,
Judith Sherman

Humor Persuades

I read a posting from NewsMax.com that they use to promote their CD on Ronald Reagan. I liked some of the points they made about laughter and humor and so I thought I would share the informaiton with you. Do with it as you wish.

Reagan often used humor to inform and to share his insights.

No other President in modern times has that I can remember used humor to capture the attention of the American people like Ronald Reagan did.

During several decades of public service Ronald Reagan used his gift of humor as a tool and a weapon against his adversaries, unlike a lot of politicians who memorize stunt jokes to lighten up and entertain the crowd.

Reagan had true wit and used humor in both public and private occasions. He was a funny man.

Laughter was his way of creating a special warmth, like an electric arc between him and his audience. There’s a lot we can learn from Reagan’s humor.

For those who believe that Ronald Reagan was an icon, NewsMax’s audio program may be good to bring back great memories. For those of you who want to know what Reagan really believed, you’ll find that out also.

Ronald Reagan use Humor to::

  • to expose big government
  • to defeat the Evil Empire
  • to take the Democrats to task
  • to learn from children
  • to make light of his deficiencies and weaknesses
  • to take on the liberal press like Sam Donaldson
  • to make light of fellow conservatives
  • to live a happier, smarter life
  • and much, much more.
  • We should all be students of how to be a Great Communicator like him and how to use humor to make a point, deflect criticism, defang an enemy, win friends and elections, and influence people worldwide.

I encourage you to learn more about using humor and not be so serious about serious things. I know I can use some tips on how to do this. In case you are interested in getting their CD, here is an order form. Note that they want you to get 4 months of their magazine.

Benefits of Peroxide

I received this email today about the use of peroxide instead of Clorox.  I don’t know if everything it says is true, but I do know that doctors use peroxide in their offices and that it will lighten hair. I offer this information for you to use with good judgement.  Please share this information with your family and friends.  I would enjoy hearing from you about any experiences and additional uses for this chemical.

CLOROX VERSUS PEROXIDE-Great Information

Clorox vs Peroxide [is] VERY interesting and inexpensive. This was written by Becky Ransey of Indiana (a doctor’s wife), and I want to share it with you. She was over recently for coffee and smelled the bleach I was using to clean my toilet and counter tops. This is what she told me. ‘I would like to tell you [about] the benefits of that plain little ole bottle of 3% peroxide you can get for under $1.00 at any drug store. What does bleach cost?

My husband has been in the medical field for over 36 years, and most doctors don’t tell you about peroxide. Have you Ever smelled bleach in a doctor’s office? NO!!!

Why? because it smells, and it is not healthy! Ask the nurses who work in the doctor’s offices, and ask them if they use bleach at home. They are wiser and know better!

Did you also know bleach was invented in the late 40′s? It’s chlorine, folks! Peroxide was invented during WWI in the 20′s. It was used to save and help cleanse the needs of our troops and hospitals.

Please think about this:

1. Take one capful (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out. (I do it when I bathe.) No more canker sores, and your teeth will be whiter without expensive pastes. Use it instead of mouthwash. (…I’m sorry, but I find it hard to believe that this is safe.)

2. Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup of peroxide to keep them free of germs.

3. Clean your counters and table tops with peroxide to kill germs and leave a fresh smell. Simply put a little on your dishrag when you wipe, or spray it on the counters.

4. After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour peroxide on it to kill salmonella and other bacteria.

5. I had fungus on my feet for years until I sprayed a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let dry.

6. Soak any infections or cuts in 3% peroxide for five to ten minutes several times a day. My husband has seen gangrene that would not heal with any medicine but was healed by soaking in peroxide.

7. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water and keep it in every bathroom to disinfect without harming your septic system like bleach or most other disinfectants will.

8. Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your 50/50 mixture whenever you have a cold, plugged sinus. It will bubble and help to kill the bacteria. Hold for a few minutes, and then blow your nose
into a tissue.

9. If you have a terrible toothache and cannot get to a dentist right away, put a capful of 3% peroxide into your mouth and hold it for ten minutes several times a day. The pain will lessen greatly.

10. And of course, if you like a natural look to your hair, spray the 50/50 solution on your wet hair after a shower and comb it through. You will not have the peroxide-burnt blonde hair like the hair dye packages but more natural highlights if your hair is a light brown, reddish, or dirty blonde. It also lightens gradually, so it’s not a drastic change.

11. Put half a bottle of peroxide in your bath to help get rid of boils,
fungus, or other skin infections.

12. You can also add a cup of peroxide instead of bleach to a load of
whites in your laundry to whiten them. If there is blood on clothing, pour it directly on the soiled spot. Let it sit for a minute, then rub it and rinse with cold water. Repeat if necessary.

13. I use peroxide to clean my mirrors. There is no smearing, which is why I love it so much for this.

14. Another place it’s great is in the bathroom, if someone has been careless and has peed on the floor around the toilet and it’s begun to smell of urine. Just put some peroxide in a spray bottle and spray. In the blink of any eye all the smell will be gone and the bacteria eliminated!

I could go on and on. It is a little brown bottle no home should be without! With prices of most necessities rising, I’m glad there’s a way to save tons of money in such a simple, healthy manner! ‘ This information really woke me up. I hope you gain something from it, too.

Pass it on! Clorox vs peroxide VERY interesting and inexpensive.
