Interesting 1966 Prophecy

animated-dog

  • Have we been complacent for far too long?
  • What has happened to this country in our absence?
  • What happened to our personal commitment to protecting our way of life?
  • Will we wake up one day and find that we live in a Communist Society?

I know, there is no way this could happen in the United States of America. We would not allow it to happen. Oh yeah, let’s just see. Below are some videos that you might find interesting.

Ezra Taft Benson served as Secretary of Agriculture in the Eisenhower cabinet.  He later became the President and Prophet of  the LDS Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of  Latter-day Saints). You tell me if this man didn’t know the future. This is exactly what we are seeing today.

In an address given on February 28, 1966 and recorded in his book, ”An Enemy Hath Done This,” on pages 106-107, Ezra Taft Benson spoke about the buildup of  communism and socialism in the future of the U.S.A .; what damages these doctrines would bring, and what it would take for Americans to willingly accept these evil doctrines.

President Gordon B Hinckley (talk after 911)

Interesting that this article should surface at this time of our history. The Lord’s plan is going to win regardless. Even though there will be some slight detours along the way, God will overcome the World.

In his published book, he stated:

“There would be a further huge expansion of government and of its control over our economy, education, medical services, and every detail of our family and individual lives.. During such a period, it is reasonable to expect — unless sufficient brakes are put on the present stampede to the left, we will get exactly what the communist-socialist coalition is planning –  the nationalization of insurance,  transportation, communications, utilities, banks, farms,  housing, hospitals, and schools.

To take over our schools, the educational system will first have been federalized and then prostituted entirely to serving the propaganda needs of the state planners with absolutely no regard for truth or scholarship or tradition.”

Seems pretty prophetic to me.  Let’s see:
1. Expansion of government — check
2. control over economy — check
3. control over medical services –  check
4. nationalization of insurance –  check
5. control  over transportation — partially checked
6. control  over communications — Fairness Doctrine — being debated now
7. control over utilities — no new coal or nuclear power plants –check
8. control over banks — Citigroup, JP Morgan, etc. — check
9. housing — Fannie Mae, Freddy Mac — check
10. hospitals –  check
11. Schools — see National Education Agency — check

Let’s Talk Green Peace

My friend posted this on Tagged.com. It was so good I had to share it with you. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

All of you out there in America and across the globe who have fought so hard to tackle the hideous enemy of our planet, namely carbon emissions, you know ….that bogus god you worship of “Climate Change” or “global warming” ….well, I feel it is necessary to inform you of some bad news. It really does pain me to have to bring you this disappointing information.

Are you sitting down?

Okay, here’s the bombshell. The current volcanic eruption going on in Iceland, since its first spewing of volcanic ash this past week, has, to this point, NEGATED EVERY SINGLE EFFORT you have made in the past five years to control CO2 emissions on our planet.

I know, I know…. (group hug)…it’s very disheartening to realize that all of the carbon emission savings you have accomplished while suffering the inconvenience and expense of: driving Prius hybrids, buying fabric grocery bags, sitting up til midnight to finish your kid’s “The Green Revolution” science project, throwing out all of your non-green cleaning supplies, using only two squares of toilet paper, putting a brick in your toilet tank reservoir, selling your SUV and speedboat, going on vacation to a city park instead of Yosemite, nearly getting hit every day on your bicycle, replacing all of your $1 light bulbs with $10 light bulbs …well, all of those things you have done have all gone down the tubes in just the past four days.

The volcanic ash emitted into the Earth’s atmosphere in the past four days has totally erased every single effort you have made to reduce the evil beast, carbon.  And, those hundreds of thousands of American jobs you helped move to Asia with expensive emissions demands on businesses… you know, the ones that are creating even more emissions than when they were creating American jobs, well I just know that seems worthwhile now.

I’m so sorry. And I do wish I had a silver lining to this volcanic ash cloud but the fact of the matter is that the brush fire season across the western U.S.A. will start in about two months and those fires will negate your efforts to reduce carbon in our world for the next two years.

But hey, grab a Coke, give the world a hug and have a nice day!

FollowUp-Parent Abuse Support Line

Safe in Gods Hands Support Line

My friend Brenda is doing a SAFE IN GOD’S HANDS support group. This is the second week. Tonight was very special and we felt a real closeness with each other. We helped someone whose life is in danger and gave her support to be safe. SUPPORT LINE…. 1-712-432-3900…PIN # 647-495 EVERY THURSDAY @ 9:00PM-11:00PM NATIONAL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE….

Date:
Thursday, May 13, 2010
Time:
9:00pm – 11:00pm
Location:
712-432-3900 pin #647-495

DESCRIPTION

The rise of parent abuse has many parents feeling too ashamed to get the help they need. If your teen is violent, don’t minimize the problem. Face it head on.

Perhaps the biggest obstacles to overcoming parent abuse are shame and blame. If your teen is violent (hitting, threatening, intimidating, name-calling, shoving, etc.) it’s tough to even think about getting help because acknowledging or naming the problem is painful.

To make matters worse, once parents that are suffering abuse find the courage to reach out they often do not find the help they need. Instead they find blame; “this is your fault because you are a bad parent.”

It is no wonder that parent abuse – an increasingly common problem – is not often talked about or adequately addressed.

If you are suffering abuse at the hands of your son or daughter, please know this:

You are not alone again. Although the problem isn’t often talked about, it does exist and it is increasingly common. Blaming is not the answer or even a useful response to the problem.

Please join the support line this next week. Even if you are not being abused yourself, you may know someone who is being abused and you can learn how to help her.

If you have a story that you would like to share with our readers, please feel free to share it with us. Tell everyone you know about this superb support group.

I know this beautiful woman who is putting on this group help line and I know the trouble she has been through. I attest with assurance that she is genuine and knows what she is talking about. I know she can help you.

Please send me an email if you plan to attend so I can let her know how many to expect. I am signed up.

AARP Message To Most Americans

Pitfalls Of Payday Lending

I received this important message from AARP that is of interest to most Americans these days. These people are just legal loan sharks. Your chances of coming out on the positive end of such a loan is non-existent. That’s why they risk lending to you. You pay for the risk they take and for those who do not pay back the loan.

With the economy still sluggish and many folks still struggling, there’s one booming industry that’s been taking advantage of many Texans. Our Texas page of April’s AARP Bulletin took a closer look one man’s experience with predatory payday loans:

He had never walked into a payday loan shop, but Cleveland Lomas thought it was the right move: It would help him pay off his car and build up good credit in the process.

Instead, Lomas ended up paying $1,300 on a $500 loan as interest and fees mounted and he couldn’t keep up. He swore it was the first and only time he’d visit a payday lender.

“It’s a complete rip-off,” said Lomas, 34, of San Antonio. “They take advantage of people like me, who don’t really understand all that fine print about interest rates.”

Lomas stopped by the AARP Texas booth at a recent event that kicked off a statewide campaign called “500% Interest Is Wrong” urging cities and towns to pass resolutions calling for stricter regulation of payday lenders.

Read the rest of the story in the article, “Payday Loan Shops Exploit a Loophole”.

Know someone who’s been impacted by predatory payday or auto title lenders? Or have you had a personal experience with these incredibly high interest loans? Let us hear about it. Your story will make a difference. Let your voice be heard!
